NOTES:

1. This program is suitable for Rooting ZenFone 4/5/6 of version 4.x (kitkat) and 5.0 (lollipop) as well as ZenFone 2 (ZE500CL / ZE550ML / ZE551ML).
2. If There is system update, please unroot then apply the update, otherwise it will not boot after the update is complete
3. Install Intel USB Driver and ASUS Driver First

1. Make sure the computer can detect ASUS Android Bootloader Interface and ASUS Composite ADB Interface
2. Turn On USB debugging and connected to the computer via USB cable
3. Execute (Double Click) Root.bat

0 How to Root Zenfone 5 Lollipop

Download Root-recovery Files:

How to Root Asus Zenfone 5 (T00F/T00J) Lollipop version (For Kitkat and Jellybean see here)

1.  Install TWRP/Philz (Tutorial Here)
2.  place SuperSU-autoroot.zip on /sdcard or /microSD, but I recommend u place on both
3.  Go to recovery mode:
   on fastboot: choose "recovery", then wait.
   or from power off: hold power+vol down.
4. ON RECOVERY: choose install, choose where u place SuperSU-autoroot.zip and wait till success.
5. reboot system

0 How to Root Zenfone 5 Firmware 2.21.40.44

Since RootZenfoneV3 Can't Root Zenfone 5 with 2.21.40.44 Firmware Version, so i made this tutorial.

1. Download Fastboot.img from 2.21.40.30 Firmware Download Here or Mirror HERE, or  you can extract it from 2.21.40.30 firmware
2. ADB Fastboot Tool If you don't have it (Download Here)
3. Flash Fastboot.img
- Go to Fastboot
- Connect to PC/Laptop
- Open ADB Folder, Shift+Right Click > Open Command Here
- Type fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img
- Wait Until Finish and Reboot
4.  Root with RootZenfoneKitkat, Tutorial Here
